Universal Pictures
Still very much afflicted by March Madness, Cargill and I once again walk the halls of filmdom’s asylum and pay a visit to one extremely special patient. Ordinarily with the movies we discuss, despite our loving them all, there are a few elements we have to forgive or moments at which we can’t help but laugh. Terry Gilliam‘s Twelve Monkeys is not one of those films.
Twelve Monkeys is, simply put, one of the best science fiction movies of all time. However, Gilliam has never been a director embraced by the mainstream and this flawless would-be classic has very unfortunately slipped through the cracks. Download this episode, join our Army of the Fans of Twelve Monkeys and lets undo the wrongs of the past by giving this masterpiece its due!
*Don’t think of this episode as going up a day later than usual, think of it as our traveling into the future together!
