To unleash the bubbles, I loved Finding Dory. Totally loved it. Wonderful in every way, delivers on all fronts, it's entertaining, it's inspiring, it's emotional, and it has stunning animation. I enjoyed the way the story unfolds and thought it was enthralling to build the story around young Dory and her parents. It is a bit slow to start, but once it gets going, things get really good. The third act is fascinating and seems like it was a challenge to put together, with some impressive back-and-forth bouncing (Nemo & Marlin are lost, then Dory is lost again) and some stand-out moments. The POV scene is incredible, but I thought the final truck flip moment was the best in the movie. It all paid off perfectly and made me so happy because it was perfect.

A few other notable mentions. The score was one aspect of it that made it so wonderful. Excellent work from Thomas Newman, enhancing the experience even further. Also - I totally loved Hank the Octopus, voiced by Ed O'Neill. His character was kind of amazing, at times the villain, others time the hero, and yet totally unique and such an integral part of the story. The entire voice cast is outstanding but Ed O'Neill is another shining example of why we need a Best Voice Performance category at the Academy Awards (to compliment Best Animated Feature). I love how many strong messages there are for kids, and for adults, and how much the story truly embraces the idea of animals being free. Another Pixar movie that I'm in love with already.
