"You'll see now how happy we can be." Fox has posted the new full-length theatrical trailer online for Luke Scott's upcoming thriller Morgan, which was originally playing in front of Independence Day: Resurgence over the weekend. It's a sci-fi film about a "human" that is captured after an incident, though it has some very horrific aspects to it, too. Kate Mara stars and the description on IMDb reveals that she is called in to "determine whether or not to terminate an artificial being's life that was made in a laboratory environment." The full cast also includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul Giamatti. This first teaser didn't reveal that much, but this one sheds some light on what's going on and it looks pretty cool. I'm definitely intrigued and will be seeing this.

A corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent "human," who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger. Morgan is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Luke Scott, the son of director Ridley Scott, making his feature debut after a few short films previously. The screenplay is written by Seth W. Owen, along with Luke Scott. It's produced by Ridley Scott, Michael Schaefer, and Mark Huffam. 20th Century Fox is planning to release Luke Scott's Morgan in theaters starting on September 2nd later this year.
