This week, Cargill and I are giving you Nightmares! No, we’re not talking about the extreme horror you should feel when thinking about our daily dietary intake, we are specifically referring to the 1983 anthology horror film Nightmares.
Originally intended for television, but deemed too intense for broadcast, Nightmares lives up to its boast in its trailer of being a sleeper hit that “you’ve never heard of, but will never forget.” Between its litany of great character actors, delightfully mixed bag of vignettes, and one very memorable Bishop (no, not Lance Henriksen from Aliens…though Lance IS in this), Nightmares is definitely a gem you shouldn’t sleep on.
