How do you suppose Harrison Ford would pronounce “GIF,” with a hard “J-iff” or a soft “G-iff” sound? These are questions to which my mind has wandered in the processing of this Star Wars: The Force Awakens GIF poster… thing.
It looks like something out of Monty Python, with all the charm and oddity of a Terry Gilliam animation in between sketches. This is exactly what I needed to further enrage my nerd boner over Star Wars: a way to connect it to Terry Gilliam.
Have a look for yourself and try to deny that this thing is giving off some serious Gilliam vibes:
