"To get you into the festive spirit…" Universal has released an amusing Christmas-themed holiday teaser trailer for The Secret Life of Pets, the new animated movie from Illumination Entertainment rriving next summer. The first trailer for this debuted earlier in the summer, and I've got a feeling its going to be a huge hit once it arrives, just because everyone loves their pets and always wonders what they're thinking. This Christmas teaser isn't much besides some funny moments of pets wearing holiday costumes while having their picture taken. It should make you smile and maybe laugh a little, then hug your own pet. Take a look.

For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, The Lorax, Minions) and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, co-starring Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress & Albert Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me 1 & 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio. Universal will release The Secret Life of Pets in theaters starting July 8th, 2016 next summer.
