"If I ever write a story myself it will be to correct millions of misconceptions created by his imaginative license." Roadside Attractions has unveiled the full-length US trailer for Mr. Holmes, starring Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes at the end of his years. This is already one of my favorite films of the year and my stamp of approval on this one actually appears in the trailer – I'm quoted! It comes from my glowing review of the film from Berlinale, where I first saw this and loved it. McKellen is indeed magnificent in this story about memory loss and aging, featuring a stellar cast that includes the young Milo Parker, Laura Linney, Hattie Morahan, Hiroyuki Sanada and Frances de la Tour. Don't miss this in the summer!
