Show us the Fish Mooney!
Jada Pinkett Smith was on "Live With Kelly and Michael" on Friday when the hosts asked her about the future of her tough character on
"Gotham."When Kelly asked her if she'd be returning for the second season, Pinkett Smith said, "I don't think so, no. I signed for a year and the year is up. But there are some great things coming ahead on 'Gotham,' believe you me. There's a lot of good stuff coming." There hasn't been an official statement from the studio or producers, but as Pinkett Smith joked, "She could show up anywhere, you never know!"
Pinkett Smith also told
"Extra" that she will not be back next season, although she's enjoyed being a comic book villan. "I've always been a comic book fan so it was definitely a dream to be able to participate in an origin story of Batman with an original character. Who would of thought in a million years that I would have the opportunity to do that?"
The show is currently on hiatus, and the last four episodes of the season will begin in April.
