
Childbirth has been a fertile source of horrific imagery around the globe for centuries, fears of a woman's body ceasing to be entirely her own fueling all manner of grotesque stories from virtually every culture imaginable. One such tale is that of the tuyul from Indonesi, where director Billy Christian is preparing a trilogy of films revolving around the creature.TUYUL (Toyol in English) tells a reimagined story about the Indonesian urban mythical spirit.
