Second Trailer for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadow'

"That's how I roll! That's how you roll!" Paramount has released the second trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadow, directed by Dave Green, bringing back all the Turtles and Megan Fox as April O'Neil from the other recent "live-action" TMNT movie. Will Arnett also returns, and the cast includes Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry, Gary Anthony Williams & Stephen Farrelly as Bebop & Rocksteady, with Fred Armisen as Krang. This seems as goofy and absurd as the first one, and feels more like a cartoon turned live-action than anything else, but it looks fun. At least there's some action.

The Turtles return from the most recent TMNT movie (directed by Jonathan Liebesman) to save New York City from a dangerous new threat - Bebop. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is directed by Dave Green, of the film Earth to Echo and a few shorts previously. The screenplay is written by Josh Appelbaum, and André Nemec, based on Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird's characters. The cast includes Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams. Paramount will release Dave Green's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 in 3D in theaters starting June 3rd, 2016 this summer. For more follow @TMNTMovie. Anyone?

Mila Kunis & Kristen Bell Star in First Trailer for 'Bad Moms' Comedy

"We all work too damn hard trying to make our kids lives amazing and magical…" STX Entertainment has debuted the first official trailer for Bad Moms, the summer comedy starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn as "bad moms". The three play overworked, stressed out moms who go crazy being free-spirited, anti-perfect moms - clashing with the head of the PTA. The cast includes Jay Hernandez, Clark Duke, Annie Mumolo, Jada Pinkett Smith and Christina Applegate. This is the funniest if you are also a mom, but if not, well you'll see. I can assure you none of the jokes made me laugh at all. STX put out a green band and red band trailer, with dirtier jokes in the latter, so if you're curious check this out.

Watch: Official US Trailer for Norwegian Action Thriller 'The Last King'

"In an ancient land of ice & snow, traitors with dark desires lurk in the shadows…" Magnolia has debuted a trailer for a Norwegian action movie called The Last King, directed by filmmaker Nils Gaup. The story is about two men that have to protect an illegitimate son born in ancient Norway during a civil war. This actually looks awesome - there's even tons of skiing action, plus swords and bows & arrows, everything else. It's obviously playing at the "Game of Thrones" fans, but also looks like it might be a lot of fun to watch. The cast includes Kristofer Hivju, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Jakob Oftebro, and Thorbjørn Harr. Give it a look.

Get a Good Look: Supercut Vid of David Fincher's Extreme Close-Ups

David Fincher is one of my favorite filmmakers still working today. He's a master of style and storytelling, with ten excellent films under his belt so far. Video editor Jacob Swinney has put together a new video essay taking a closer look at Fincher's extreme close-ups (he's made videos on Tarantino's "ECUs" and PTA's "ECUs", too). Featuring footage from all ten of Fincher's films, from Alien 3 to Se7en to Fight Club to Zodiac to The Social Network to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to Gone Girl, it shows how Fincher uses these close-ups to add extra context to the stories he's telling and the characters he's following. They're sometimes subtle or they can be quite powerful, focusing on a very important detail at the moment. Take a look below.

That's because Fincher's extreme close-ups don't call attention to themselves. The filmmaker stitches the shots into his pictures in a way that is subtle and fluid, yet impactful and abrasive. They often go unnoticed, sitting just under the surface and scratching at our eyes. In my previous two 'Extreme Close-Up' videos, I looked at Quentin Tarantino and Paul Thomas Anderson, two masters of the ECU. Malick's IMAX Film 'Voyage of Time' Officially Set to Open This October

Briefly: Finally, we have an actual release date! Buried in the latest IMAX financial report (via The Film Stage) is mention of an actual release date for Terrence Malick's long-awaited IMAX movie Voyage of Time. We've been talking about this ever since The Tree of Life was released in 2011, as it was made around the same time and apparently some of the footage in the IMAX film was used in that film, too. IMAX will release "a documentary film, Voyage of Time," on October 7th, 2016. No other details were included, like a running time. Narrated by Brad Pitt & Cate Blanchett, the doc is an "examination of the birth and death of the known universe" - a voyage over billions of years, which was condensed into a sequence in Tree of Life.

According to reports from just last year, Terrence Malick's Voyage of Time is being turned into two different versions - a slightly shorter IMAX cut and a full feature version (but we still don't know what will happen to this version). The most recent synopsis states: "Voyage of Time is a celebration of the earth, displaying the whole of time, from the birth of the universe to its final collapse. This film examines all that went to prepare the miracle that stands before us now. Science and spirit, birth and death, the grand cosmos and the minute life systems of our planet – all come together in Malick’s most ambitious film to date." It was also reported last year Ennio Morricone is scoring Voyage of Time, which is more than enough of a reason to see this.
