Jason Momoa in Alaskan Survival Thriller 'Sugar Mountain' First Trailer

Sugar Mountain Trailer

"I went missing up on that mountain right there? Well, we'd have a hell of a story." The first trailer for a survival thriller titled Sugar Mountain has arrived online. The film is about two brothers who decide to fake a disappearance in the Alaskan wilderness so they'll have a great survival story to sell. However, things don't go exactly as planned and they end up in even more trouble than before. Jason Momoa stars with Cary Elwes, Melora Walters, Anna Hutchison, John Karna, Drew Roy, Haley Webb and Shane Coffey. This looks like a bit of a mess, with lots of drama among characters and not enough actual survival, though it's hard to judge from this trailer alone. I'm curious but honestly not expecting that much from this.

Here's the first official trailer for Richard Gray's Sugar Mountain, direct from YouTube:

Sugar Mountain Trailer

Two brothers, down on their luck, fake a disappearance in the Alaskan wilderness so they'll have a great survival story to sell, but the hoax turns out to be more real than they planned. Sugar Mountain is directed by Australian filmmaker Richard Gray, a graduate of the Victorian College of The Arts, School of Film & TV, of the films The Lookalike, Blinder, Mine Games, and Summer Coda; as well as the short film Yellow Brick Dreams. The screenplay is written by Abe Pogos ("Packed to the Rafters"), from a story by Catherine Hill and Abe Pogos. The film has yet to premiere at any film festivals or otherwise. Screen Media Ventures will release Sugar Mountain in select theaters starting December 9th later this fall. Is anyone interested?
