Watch: Second Trailer for Jon Chu's 'Jem and the Holograms' Movie

Jem and the Holograms Trailer

"Who is Jem?!" Universal has unveiled a second official trailer for Jon M. Chu's Jem and the Holograms movie, based on the campy 80's animated TV show. The first trailer debuted a few months back and this latest one follows up with more flashy, totally outrageous Jem action. They're amazing rock star musicians by night! This trailer also introduces the very creepy, very stupid robot thing that seems to track them all the time. We get it, Hollywood, you have no idea how technology works, but nice try. Aubrey Peeples plays Jerrica, along with Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau & Hayley Kiyoko as her rockin' sisters. Enjoy.

Here's the second official trailer for Jon M. Chu's Jem and the Holograms, direct from YouTube:

And here's another fresh featurette for the Jem and the Holograms movie, also revealed recently:

As a small-town girl (Aubrey Peeples) catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters (Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, Hayley Kiyoko) begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden. These our aspiring musicians will take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice. Molly Ringwald and Juliette Lewis also star in Jem and the Holograms, directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and written by Ryan Landels ("Masterclass"). Universal releases the film October 23rd.
