Watch: John Hammond Narrates Another New 'Jurassic World' Spot

Jurassic World

"I own an island off the coast of Costa Rica…" With just a few more weeks left until Jurassic World hits theaters in June, Universal has started unloading TV spots left and right. One of the latest ones features a John Hammond (originally played by Richard Attenborough) voice-over, borrowing sound clips from the original Jurassic Park. They're really playing up that connection to the original, and pushing with "The Park Is Open" as the big tagline on every TV spot. Oddly, at one point they have Hammond to say "Welcome to Jurassic World!" So maybe they had someone else do his voice just for that part… Anyway, the rest of the footage is starting to look really good. Chris Pratt and those rapors! I am so ready for this. Bring on dinos.

Here's the latest spot for Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World with John Hammond, from @JurassicPark:

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his role from Jurassic Park. Universal will open Jurassic World this June 12th. You in?
