Don't worry, the dinosaurs won't eat you. This new park is totally safe! Trust us, we're InGen. Come see the deadly dinosaurs, you'll be fine. Ha. Universal has debuted a fantastic new video on YouTube that plays as a viral video from InGen Technologies, the company responsible for creating the Jurassic Park and all the dinosaurs within in. In the video, you'll see actor BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu explaining the technology and processes behind their operation. It's almost like a job video, come work for us! Look what we do! Though of course we all know that it's going to get crazy in Jurassic World and something is going to go wrong. "That's what being today, tomorrow is." This reminds me a bit of the Weyland TED Talk, which is one of my faves.
Here's the new viral video for Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World, introducing us to InGen Technologies:
"What comes next?" Indeed… That's what I'm wondering, especially after all this there better be dino rage.
Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his role from Jurassic Park. Universal will open Jurassic World on June 12th. Get ready.
