Genre fans living in the United Kingdom and Ireland are in for a real treat. In fact, I'm jealous. Icon Film Distribution (formerly owned by Mel Gibson) and FrightFest have teamed up in an exclusive partnership to bring genre films to VOD in the UK and Ireland. Under the name "FrightFest Presents," fans can see film via IFD's digital partners (including Sky, iTunes, Amazon, Blinkbox, Film4OD, VirginMovies, TalkTalk, Google, Volta, and Eircom) giving film fans instant access to some of their favorite FrightFest titles. Each release will have the collective backing of IFD and FrightFest across marketing, PR and social media.
