First Knitted Teaser Poster for M. Night Shyamalan's Horror 'The Visit'

The Visit

If you happened to catch Unfriended in theaters this past weekend, then you may have been treated to a bit of a surprise, which is rare these days. Universal Pictures decided to release the teaser trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's horror film The Visit in theaters exclusively this weekend without any pomp or circumstance. It will be available online this Thursday, and in the meantime, a cool, knitted teaser poster has arrived for the film that marks The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable director's return to horror, hopefully with a good film this time. The trailer is creepy, but you'll have to wait a couple days before you see it. Look!

Here's the teaser poster for M. Night Shyamalan's The Visit from Universal:

The Visit

The Visit is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs, The Village), which he also produced with Blumhouse Productions (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, The Purge, Sinister). The film employs a found footage style of storytelling to follow a brother and sister (Ed Oxenbould, Olivia DeJonge) who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip.  Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day. The film arrives on September 11th.
