In just one week, The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be hitting theaters here in the United States, even though it's already started playing overseas. We're eagerly awaiting to see how it progresses the Marvel cinematic universe and potentially sets up what will be a major conflict for our heroes in Captain America: Civil War. The sequel already has Robert Downey Jr. on board as Iron Man, and it will also see Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner will also pop up as Black Widow, Falcon and Hawkeye, and Chadwick Boseman will debut as Black Panther. And now one more character will be back.
CBM attended a Q&A event at the Apple Store in London with director Joss Whedon and actress Elizabeth Olsen, and the latter, new star of Avengers: Age of Ultron revealed that her new character, Scarlet Witch, will be back in Captain America: Civil War. While that might be considered a spoilery detail, no one really thought that they would introduce a character like Scarlet Witch and just dispatch with her in a single movie. That would just be a waste. After all, we already know she ends up on the side of the Avengers eventually, after initially working with Ultron, so it just makes sense for her to stick around. But what about Quicksilver? Does he not make it? I suppose we'll find out next week.
