"Save the Rebellion! Save the dream!" Disney + Lucasfilm have debuted two more action-packed TV spots for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which hits theaters in less than a month now. Tickets have already started to go on sale (beginning in the UK) and anticipation is about to hit its peak. I've already seen more than enough footage for this, I just want to be sitting in a theater watching the movie already. It will be that day soon, very soon. This stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, plus Mads Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Jonathan Aris, Riz Ahmed & Alan Tudyk. There's a few more shots in each of these spots, but it's mostly all about hyping up the crowds now. Fire ’em up below.
Here's the two newest TV spots for Gareth Edwards' Rogue One, direct from the Star Wars YouTube:
You can still see the first teaser trailer for Rogue One here, plus the second trailer + the third trailer here.
"Rogue One takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe," says Kathleen Kennedy. Rogue One tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. It's being directed by English filmmaker Gareth Edwards, of the movies Monsters and Godzilla previously. The screenplay is credited to Chris Weitz (About a Boy, The Golden Compass, Cinderella) based on a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. Disney will release Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in theaters everywhere starting December 16th, 2016 this year. For more Star Wars news, click here. Are you ready?
