First Trailer for Found Footage Horror 'Pandemic' with Rachel Nichols

Pandemic Trailer

You are humanity's last stand. New Artists Alliance has debuted a trailer for the found footage horror film Pandemic, directed by John Suits. The film stars Rachel Nichols, Alfie Allen, Pat Healy, Missi Pyle and Mekhi Phifer. Taking advantage of the massive pop culture obsession with zombies, the film is about a "virus of epic proportions" that has taken over and turned most people into crazy, flesh-eating freaks. It's seems like it's a combination of Soderbergh's Contagion and Breck Eisner's The Crazies, and if that sounds like something you want to see, have at it. The action looks crazy & intense, though I'm not sure if I like the POV angle (too much like a video game). That shot of them tossing the shotgun was pretty cool. Fire this up.

Here's the first official trailer for John Suits' horror Pandemic, found directly on YouTube:

Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors. Pandemic is directed by American filmmaker John Suits, of the feature films The Scribbler, Breathing Room and Family of Four previously. The screenplay is written by newcomer Dustin T. Benson. New Artists Alliance will be releasing John Suits' Pandemic in theaters everywhere starting on April 1st, 2016 this spring. Anyone interested?
