This hilarious ‘Deadpool 2’ tease brings out his inner painter.
The Merc With a Mouth has a new palette of tricks up his sleeve. In the new teaser for Deadpool 2, Ryan Reynolds Deadpool is impersonating celebrity painter Bob Ross. It’s a hilarious gag that mixes Deadpool’s sense of humor perfectly with some nifty movie references as well. It also makes sense with the new poster that was released for the film depicting the cast sharing a Thanksgiving dinner. Just so happens that Deadpool himself drew that wonderful painting. Even with all the humor there is some new footage but it occurs so briefly, you have to be on your toes.
The footage contains quite a bit of new information in the ten seconds it appears. We get our first look at Hunt for the Wilderpeople star Julian Dennison, in a blazing fire. There are also appearances from Brianna Hildebrand’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Zazie Beetz as Domino, and of course Deadpool himself awakening from a nap in a coffin. The big reveal missing from the trailer is obviously that of Josh Brolin’s Cable. Fox is probably saving that for a bigger trailer somewhere down the road.
