Rocky Taylor has been putting himself in danger longer than most people have been alive.
Stunts are a young man’s game. You have to be courageous and meticulous, with enough of a wild streak to be reckless when all the rules have gone out the window. Rocky Taylor has been a stuntman for 54 years.
Spanning multiple James Bonds, government administrations, and wars, Taylor’s career has seen the stunt world and Hollywood itself evolve into what it is today.
A short doc by Great Big Story supercuts some of Taylor’s more famous work together with the stuntman himself narrating a brief biography and his ruminations on his years in the industry. It’s fascinating stuff from a master of an unsung profession.
