"So, I needed some 'me' time, and I came to Australia and that's when I moved in with Daryl!" This is genius. Marvel Studios has officially released the hilarious video that first debuted in Hall H at Comic-Con this year showing what Thor was up to during Captain America: Civil War. If you saw that film, you may have noticed Thor was missing from action while things were getting crazy. To answer that question, they made this "The Office"-style video featuring Chris Hemsworth in character as Thor discussing his time hanging out with regular people down in Australia. He even meets up with Mark Ruffalo (aka Bruce Banner) at one point and tries to get in touch with Tony Stark via "electronic letter". Gotta love this. Enjoy.
Here's the bonus video for Captain America: Civil War, by Taika Waititi, posted on Twitter by Marvel:
Marvel Studios' originally showed this promo video exclusively during the Comic-Con 2016 presentation in Hall H. From Twitter: "See what Thor was up to during Captain America: Civil War!" This video and other bonus features will be included in the Digital HD and Blu-ray releases of Captain America: Civil War, arriving in September. Directed by the Russo Brothers, Civil War first hit theaters in May of 2016. As far as we can tell, this promo video was made by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, who is currently in the middle of production on the new film. This is so much fun and makes me wish they'd whip up more short films like this about various characters. Who knows? In the meantime, grab a copy of Civil War when it hits.
