Universal Pictures gave movie fans a late-nite gift for Hump Day or 4/20 or whatever holiday you’re celebrating in the middle of the week: a full trailer for the upcoming action film Jason Bourne.
Despite its dry title, Jason Bourne looks like a little bit of everything we’ve come to expect from this franchise. Some on-the-nose exposition, including a call-out to Edward Snowden because anytime Hollywood mentions hacking, Snowden is the most appropriate buzzword; some contemplative looks from Matt Damon; a room full of people tracking him on a video monitor (including 2015 breakout star Alicia Vikander); and a flurry of vehicular action through the unsteady lens of Paul Greengrass.
It looks like it’s going to be fun.

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series.”
Jason Bourne zips into theaters on July 29.
