"I was raised to do one thing… and I've got nothing to fight for!" Another gorgeous retrospective video has hit the web, and is another must watch for any and all movie lovers. This one is made by Miguel Branco who has been doing this for the last three years. I've always enjoyed his looks back, because he takes time to focus on some of his favorite movies throughout, including (for 2015) Me and Earl and the Dying Girl directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon. There's also some Star Wars in this, and of course Mad Max: Fury Road, plus 200 other movies from 2015. Have you seen all of them yet? What's your 2015 scorecard looking like?
You can also watch Miguel Branco's Cinefile 2014 video from last year, as well as Cinefile 2013. From his YouTube post, Miguel explains: "What a wonderful year it’s been. Calling 2015 a successful year in motion pictures would be an incredibly vast understatement. To a large degree, our theater experiences were raised to towering new heights, our heartstrings were pulled, and our emotions were manipulated in the most beautiful ways possible. If that’s not pure cinema, I don’t know what is." He ends with "as the opening line from favorite film of the year goes, 'I have no idea how to tell this story. I don't even know how to start it.'"
