Do you follow the Light Side, or the Dark Side, of the Force? That is the question. With the release of the new Star Wars just weeks away, marketing crossovers are appearing all over. One of the latest takeovers is Google going all out and hiding Easter Eggs in their website. The first one appeared when fans discovered that if you type "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" into the search bar, the website turns into the opening text crawl from the movies. Google has also launched official themes as part of a new website where you get to "Choose Your Side" - either the Light or Dark Side - and it adds images to your Gmail and Google Maps and everything. If you use Google apps all the time (like me) you'll want to take a closer look at this.
Here's a look at the new website, and some of the imagery that goes with the "Choose Your Side" themes:
There's even a meter at the bottom tracking whether the Light Side or Dark Side has more votes from fans.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, continuing the beloved original trilogy about Luke, Leia, Han & Chewie that ended in 1983, is directed by J.J. Abrams, of the films Mission: Impossible 3, Star Trek, Super 8 and Star Trek Into Darkness. The screenplay is written by Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi, The Big Chill, The Bodyguard) and J.J. Abrams, with Kathleen Kennedy from Lucasfilm producing. This debut is the beginning of a brand new saga, with another trilogy planned for this storyline, with Rian Johnson and Colin Trevorrow lined up to direct. Disney, after acquiring Lucasfilm in 2012, will release Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters worldwide on December 18th.
