“I came here to kill you.”
“I thought you came here to die.”
“Well, it’s all a matter of perspective.”
It’s this kind of banter that we’ve come to expect from the long line of James Bond films. It’s a nice bonus that we are now able to see its kind delivered in an adversarial tone between Daniel Craig, the most prominent modern Bond, and Christoph Waltz, whose villainous turn in Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds was a mere preview of what he’s capable of. These two seem to be destined for great things together. A rivalry to rival all previous Bond/villain dynamics. It’s going to be quite a bit of fun.
We can also assume, especially based on this new trailer, that Sam Mendes’ second turn in the Bond director’s chair will be at least as action-packed as his work on Skyfall. This one may have even more electrifying action, if this trailer isn’t showing us everything. That combined with more of that fancy dialogue and we should be in for a treat.

Spectre is in theaters November 6.
