Well here it is, last call. We are wrapping up our exploration of great single-night films, and we are going out with a manic bang!
To some, discussing a Martin Scorsese movie on Junkfood Cinema may seem counter-intuitive, but After Hours is a woefully forgotten Scorsese flick deserving of a second spotlight! It’s a wild, bleak, hilarious romp through a bizarre urban fairy tale forest masquerading as New York City by night!
Not to mention, and let us never forget, Martin Scorsese got his start working for…Roger Corman! All hail our patron saint!
