It may not be in English, but it still does look like a very compelling film. The first international trailer has debuted for Natalie Portman's directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness, also starring Portman, written by Portman, and produced by Portman. The cast also features Makram Khoury as Halawani and Shira Haas. The film follows Natalie Portman as Fania Oz, a writer, journalist, and advocate of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This certainly looks like it's full of beautiful imagery, telling a very emotional, powerful story. We'll update when a version with English subtitles is available. Take a look.
