Check Out Director Zack Snyder Holding Onto a Huge IMAX Camera

Just how big is an IMAX camera, really? Here's a fun photo that should give you a good idea. Director Zack Snyder (currently working on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) tweeted out a photo showing him holding a huge IMAX camera inside an office, presumably in preparation for some IMAX filming. He didn't add any other description aside from the hashtag "#workout". In the background you can see posters for The Dark Knight, Skyfall and IMAX's Space Station 3D movie, which means Zack was visiting one of IMAX's offices when they snapped this. We already know that Snyder shot some footage for Batman v Superman in IMAX, and hopefully we'll know more about exactly how much footage there will be soon. Take a look below.

(Note: as far as I know, the IMAX camera he's holding weighs about 50 pounds including any film inside.) Follow Zack on Twitter @ZackSnyder for more. He only occasionally tweets, but it's usually something fun.

Zack Snyder's sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the DC Comics Universe will bring back Henry Cavill as Superman and introduce Ben Affleck as Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane are all reprising their roles from Man of Steel, while more new additions include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. There have also been rumblings of Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa also has some sort of role. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next spring, March 25th, 2016 .
