
Hot on the heels of his epic performance in Sreenu Boyapati's Legend, Nanadamuri Balakrishna returns to the cinema with the upcoming release of his latest film, Lion. Anyone who has seen a Balakrishna movie knows that every one of them from the last decade or so shares the same basic plot: bad people do bad things and Balakrishna murders them all violently and saves the day. However, it is the panache with which NBK (as he affectionately known) dispatches his villains that holds particular sway with Tollywood audiences and is largely unparalleled among his contemporaries. Nandamuri Balakrishna isn't a great actor, nor a particularly great dancer, but he has charisma and the ability to make you believe that he is all of this and more....
