Earlier this month, Zac Efron and Adam DeVine landed quite the spectacular companion for their forthcoming comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates set up at 20th Century Fox. Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick took the role of one of the wedding dates that the titular dudes find after placing an ad online. But since there's two hard-partying, immature brothers in the title, they need two dates. And today, Variety brings word on that second date with "Parks & Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza playing one of the two women who Mike and Dave surprisingly find out might get wilder and crazier than they do. Plaza has started to be more prominent in films recently with roles in Life After Beth, The To-Do List and Ned Rifle, but the big screen projects she takes on are starting to give her some bigger roles. In fact, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates will reunite Plaza with Efron for a second time, since the two are just coming off starring in the comedy Dirty Grandpa with Robert De Niro. It's also a reunion for Plaza and Kendrick since the two each had bit supporting roles in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. This comedy has our attention with a script from Neighbors writers Andrew J. Cohen & Brendan O'Brien, and we hope Funny or Die comedy short filmmaker Jake Szymanski makes it a fine directorial debut.
